Marion County Dog Warden

Skylee - CopyWelcome!

Welcome to the Marion County Dog Warden’s website. This office is operated under the direction of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Our mission is to serve our community and to be committed to protecting the health, safety, and welfare of all animals. MCSO Dog Wardens are also sworn Humane Agents and are focused on domestic/livestock animal issues and the enforcement of dog laws. In their role as Dog Warden/Humane Agents, deputies respond to calls for dog abuse, aggressive or vicious dogs, abandonment or neglect of domestic/livestock, as well as dogs running at large or any other violation of dog laws.

We work closely with organizations and groups who have a mutual interest in our dogs. It is our goal to educate our county residents on dog ownership accountability as well as promote adoptions and reunification of dogs found running at large.

We hope that you find our website informative and useful. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you should have any questions or concerns, also check out the drop-down menu for our featured dogs and other information or visit our Facebook.

Sincerely,

Scott Mills | Marion County Dog Warden
